At Scotia, your satisfaction is our top priority. While we cannot accept returns on our perishable laddoos, we are committed to resolving any issues with damaged or incorrect orders.

Perishable Products

Due to the perishable nature of our handcrafted laddoos and sweets, we cannot accept returns once the product has been delivered. This ensures the highest quality and food safety standards for all our customers.

When We Accept Claims

We will gladly assist you in the following situations:

If your laddoos arrived broken, crushed, or damaged during transit

📦 Wrong Items

If you received products different from what you ordered

🔢 Missing Items

If your order was incomplete or items were missing

If the products are stale, spoiled, or of substandard quality

How to Report an Issue

Report within 24 hours of delivery

To help us resolve your issue quickly, please provide:

  1. Order Number: Found in your order confirmation email
  2. Description: A clear description of the problem
  3. Photographs: Clear photos showing:
    • The damaged/incorrect products
    • The packaging condition
    • The shipping label (if visible)
  4. Your Preference: Whether you prefer a replacement or refund

Resolution Options

Based on the nature of your complaint, we may offer:

Replacement

We'll send you a fresh batch of the same products at no additional cost

Refund

Full or partial refund to your original payment method

Store Credit

Credit added to your account for future purchases

Refund Timeline

  • Processing: Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days after approval
  • Credit Card/Debit Card: 5-7 business days to reflect in your account
  • UPI/Net Banking: 2-3 business days
  • Wallet: 24-48 hours

Note: Actual refund times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Non-Refundable Situations

We cannot offer refunds or replacements in these cases:

  • Change of mind after delivery
  • Taste preferences (our recipes follow traditional methods)
  • Damage caused after delivery due to improper storage
  • Failed delivery due to incorrect address or recipient unavailability
  • Claims reported after 24 hours of delivery
  • Products purchased from unauthorized resellers

Order Cancellation

  • Before Dispatch: Orders can be cancelled anytime before they are shipped. Full refund will be issued.
  • After Dispatch: Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped due to the perishable nature of our products.

To cancel an order, go to Account > Orders and click "Cancel Order" or contact our support team.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I return laddoos if I don't like the taste?

No, we cannot accept returns based on taste preferences. Our laddoos are made following traditional recipes.

What if I received my order late?

If delayed delivery affected product quality, please report it within 24 hours with photos. We'll assess and offer appropriate resolution.

How long do refunds take?

Once approved, refunds are processed within 3-5 business days. It may take additional 2-7 days to reflect in your account.
